Wokingham Chiropractic Centre

Wokingham Chiropractic Centre was established in 1994 by Henry Butterfield and Andrea Wynnick who shared the aim of providing the highest quality chiropractic care in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. Since 1994 the practice has grown taking on additional chiropractors and a massage therapist.

We outgrew our original premises and so the practice moved in January 2000 to its present location at 29 Denton Road Wokingham.  You can see a map of the town, and a little information about the area.

Is chiropractic right for me?

Many people would consider consulting a chiropractor for low back pain but they might be unaware that many other conditions including headache, neck pain and sciatica often respond well to chiropractic care.

One of our areas of interest is the care of pregnancy. By keeping the mother's pelvis and spine free of subluxations we aim to reduce backpain and to optimise the chances of a natural unassisted delivery.

At Wokingham Chiropractic Centre we see many children with a view to helping them with conditions as diverse as colic, glue ear and bedwetting.

A growing proportion of our practice comprises people who wish to keep as healthy as they can. They attend regularly for spinal check ups (wellness care) to keep their spine healthy in the same way that they would consult a dentist every six months to keep their teeth healthy.

Although chiropractic certainly is not a cure for arthritis, some individuals find that regular chiropractic care helps to reduce their pain and stiffness.

At Wokingham Chiropractic Centre we find that Applied Kinesiology (AK) and Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) are invaluable tools in the analysis of health care problems.
